We welcome the opportunity to maintain a continuing relationship with clients, working with them not only to develop strategies and plans but also to implement projects successfully and provide continuing advice and assistance, where required.

The TEAM Team
TEAM operates as a virtual company, with a team of around 40 Associates. Our consultants combine extensive experience as practitioners, managing destination operations, with many years of consultancy experience working for DMOs and related organisations around the world. Our strength is in putting together expert teams which provide precisely the right blend of skills for the project in question and which are dedicated to achieving workable solutions. We are well used to working in complex political environments where there are multiple stakeholders.
TEAM has offices throughout England and Scotland and in China, Australia, Canada, South Africa, Germany, Spain, France, Greece and The Netherlands.
Our Clients
TEAM has undertaken more than 250 projects over the past ten years and has been active in nearly twenty countries. In recent years, it has undertaken assignments for destination organisations in Oman, Saudi Arabia, Australia, Montserrat, Ethiopia, Seychelles, South Africa, Estonia, Slovenia, Ireland, Portugal and Belgium and throughout the UK, at national, regional and local level.
We have been commissioned by UNWTO, the World Tourism Organization, to research and produce several reports and publications, including 'Marketing Tourism Destinations Online', published in 1999; and 'E-Business for Tourism - Practical Guidelines for Tourism Destinations and Businesses', published in October, 2001; 'A Practical Guide to Destination Management' was published in March 2008 and 'A Handbook on E-Marketing for Tourism Destinations' in June 2008.
TEAM also works for the European Travel Commission (ETC), most importantly running the New Media Trend Watch - a web-based source of intelligence about the use of new media in all the major markets of the world.

Our History
TEAM was established in 1997 by Dr Roger Carter, who had had 25 years of successful senior management experience with tourism organisations at national, regional and city level - latterly as CEO of the Edinburgh Tourist Board. He is a Fellow of the Tourism Society, a Member of the Tourism Management Institute and a former Vice President of the International Federation for Information Technology and Travel & Tourism.
Roger Carter has spoken regularly at conferences and seminars organised by the UNWTO and by individual NTOs - in South America, Africa, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
