Carl H. Marcussen is a senior researcher at the Centre for Regional and Tourism Research in Denmark, where he has done research into ICT and travel/tourism services since 1995. Emphasis in his research is on the internet as a distribution (sales) channel, but he has also done research into the related area of mobile data. Much of his research has a European scope. Examples include the study ‘Trends in European Internet Distribution’, several reports within mobile telecommunications 2001-3, and the report ‘Internet Distribution of European Travel and Tourism Services’ from 1999.
