Experience

Gaëlle has been working as TEAM researcher since 2000 and has been responsible for research and analysis for a variety of TEAM projects. She also acts as TEAM coordinator / administrator, overseeing TEAM’s corporate affairs and assisting Roger Carter, TEAM’s Managing Director, in the daily management of the company.

Before joining TEAM, she was a research assistant in the International Tourism Research Group in Napier University.  Subsequently, she worked as a marketing assistant to the Business Development Manager and the Marketing Director of ‘Hampshire Fare’ within Hampshire County Council’s Economic Development Office.

Core skills and qualifications

Gaëlle is a bi-lingual research consultant (speaking both English and her native French) with 17 years’ experience in the tourism and business visits and events industry, on both UK-based and international projects.  She has worked on projects for the World Tourism Organization (by contributing to the preparation of six publications), European Travel Commission (including on the New Media Trend Watch Project for over ten years), VisitBritain/VisitEngland, VisitScotland and Scottish Enterprise and many DMOs and LAs in the UK and around the world.She has experience in research and analysis, email marketing, website/social media updates, event organisation and management of financial processes and corporate communications.

Gaëlle is a first-class graduate in economics and business studies from the University of Rennes in France, with the final year at the National University of Ireland – Galway. She also has a Masters degree in sport, tourism and local development from the University of Toulouse in France.
