A strategic framework for tourism in England

VisitEngland – England’s national tourist board

The challenge:

TEAM worked with The Tourism Company in drafting a new strategic framework for tourism in England. The original version, published in 2010, had a ten year horizon. This new version covered the remaining five year period.

Services provided:

The work programme included reviewing all relevant research and policy documents in order to assess progress and identify changes in the contextual environment, consultations with staff and stakeholders, a brainstorming session and meetings with the Strategic Industry Advisory Group.

Outcome:

VisitEngland is the ‘owner’ of the new version, but will seek active partner engagement in its development and implementation.
