Cape Town Tourism (CTT)
Cape Town Tourism needed to evolve to become a full service destination management and marketing organisation.
TEAM undertook the following specific elements of work:
- participation in vision workshops for the economic and social development of the city
- preparation and debating of marketing and visitor services policy framework reports
- preparation of a new and extended three year business plan for CTT, through close working with CTT CEO and staff plus workshops with CTT board members, CTT’s strategic partners, City of Cape Town Council and tourism businesses
- preparation and debating of marketing and visitor services strategy and action plan reports, based on the policy frameworks and the CTT business plan and further workshops for CTT staff and board members
TEAM provided strategic guidance and was involved in a wide-ranging programme of strategic and operational planning support for over two and a half years to ensure a successful transition.
