A strategic and organisational review for Montserrat

Client:

UK Department for International Development (DFID) / Montserrat Tourist Board

The challenge:

This project comprised a strategic and organisational review to identify a more focused tourism strategy, together with recommendations for the institutional changes required to successfully implement the strategy.

Services provided:

The framework for a revised strategy for tourism, focused clearly on attracting specific high-potential markets segments to bring maximum economic benefit to the island.

Outcome:

TEAM assessed all of the key tourism resources and opportunities on the island, spoke with a wide range of public and private sector stakeholders individually and moderated collective discussions at a project workshop. The outputs were then prepared in close cooperation with the Montserrat Tourism Board and DFID.
