Simon has over 20 years’ experience in the global travel and tourism industry covering a wide range of public and private sector organisations in the UK, USA, Canada, Middle East, Scandinavia and Latin America. He has been working for TEAM as a marketing and branding specialist for the past 5 years. He has undertaken projects in the UAE, Oman, UK, Ireland and Canada.
He has been based in New York for the last ten years, initially as Regional Director, Americas for VisitBritain, followed by VP Marketing for Virgin Atlantic Airways and most recently SVP Marketing Strategy for The Madison Square Garden Company. In addition, Simon was also Regional Director for Europe Nordic at VisitBritain and held a senior leadership role with VisitEngland managing digital, CRM and the Tourist Information network. Simon started his career in the South West of England in destination management with a variety of roles including Director of Operations for South West Tourism.
